*** BrandScout AI Marketing Intern ***

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)
Type: Internship / Casual (Part-time)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 weeks (extendable)
Preferred: Marketing / Design majors
Requirement: Fluent Chinese (spoken + written)

About the role

We’re a fast-growing AI startup based in Sydney, working with leading agencies and brands to turn market signals into strategy. We’re looking for a Chinese-speaking Marketing Intern who’s excited to work across practical growth projects — from brand collateral and outbound support to coordinating a high-impact corporate gifting initiative.

This is a great opportunity to learn how a startup scales: you’ll work directly with the founder/team, own real deliverables, and see your work shipped into the market (not “busy work”).

What you’ll do (key responsibilities)

Corporate gifts (design + vendor coordination)

  • Design and propose corporate gift options aligned to brand style, budget, and purpose
  • Communicate with vendors in Chinese (Taobao) to confirm pricing, MOQs, lead times, customisation options, and shipping
  • Coordinate customisation details: logo placement, printing methods, colours, packaging, inserts/cards
  • Track quotes, samples, and order progress end-to-end; flag risks early

Marketing & growth support (broader internship scope)

  • Assist with LinkedIn outbound and partnerships support (research, lists, light coordination)
  • Help prepare marketing collateral (one-pagers, simple decks, gift notes, landing page copy drafts)
  • Support social/content execution (content repurposing, post scheduling, basic design assistance)

What we’re looking for

  • Fluent in Mandarin (written + spoken) — comfortable negotiating details with vendors
  • Strong organisation and follow-through (tracking tasks, deadlines, vendors)
  • Great attention to detail and taste (product, packaging, brand presentation)

Why this role

  • Real ownership and fast learning in a high-growth AI startup
  • Work closely with a small team and see direct impact
  • Flexible hybrid working
  • Strong performance may lead to an extension or a longer-term role

How to apply
Please send:

  1. A short intro (location + availability)
  2. Your Mandarin level
  3. Any relevant experience (marketing, sourcing, vendor comms, design, ops — all welcome)
  4. (Optional) Links to portfolio/work samples (Canva/Figma of design works)

Calling all Violin and Piano (and other instrumental) teachers!
After seeing our students perform at an event, the staff from St Andrew’s Cathedral school were so impressed that they reached out to see if there were any students who would like to teach/tutor students at St Mary’s Cathedral College in the city.
There are both primary and High school students, so there is an opportunity to work with whatever age group you might feel most comfortable with (potential to lead ensemble groups as well).
Interested students can contact the Head of Music there, Alison Hunter for more information alison.hunter@syd.catholic.edu.au.
